While working at Seer, I was tasked with designing a vessel management system for Oshen, a company in the maritime sector that develops small robotic vessels that sail the ocean to collect climate and weather data.

Ciaran and Anahita needed a system that could help plan and execute the robot’s missions, as well as visualise the data that the robots collected. To meet these needs, I designed the following solutions:

• A map viewer that allows the user to see all of the current locations of their vessels and important status information for vessels.
• A mission planner that allows users to schedule a mission in detail with waypoints and map data. The planner also allows the user to simulate a planned route.
• A data Explorer that allows the user to visualise the data from any given mission, from any point during the mission.
